Stanislaus River Canyon Above Pinecrest

Standing on a ridge near Catfish Lake the Stanislaus River valley captured my attention. As the storm clouds rolled in on the high winds, the lightning and thunder began. There is one moment in this sequence that lights up, alas my field of view was too tight with the lens at 150mm. I quickly made my way down the granite ridge to the forest below, away from the lightning.
