Calm Between

Driving through Carson pass,on the way back from Lake Tahoe in between storms, we were treated to a little dusting of snow and balmy temperatures hovering around 25 degrees. This scene caught my eye and we quickly pulled over to capture the dramatic light unfolding before us. Reminds me that some of the best things are found in between your destinations.
