On a recent spring day, my mom was in town and wanted to take a walk through the wild flowers. I knew the perfect area. We loaded up and headed out to the Red Hills area. The hike was great and the hills were painted with wild flowers. 

On this particular day the temperature quickly rose to be much warmer than anticipated.  Angel, our Husky, was not happy, despite us bringing plenty of water for her. She would stop at any available shade, lay down, and not move until she was good and ready. Ha  Ha, that's the strong willed Husky for ya.
